Well here are my answers to those questions that were just added to the dhscad wiki:
Explain what you can do with Pro Desktop and Computer Aided Design:
On prodesktop, I can design or assemble moderately difficult things (the penclip...) and then put whatever that is onto a professional looking final drawing. With CAD in general, I can also use, with some level of proficiency, the Mill Wizard machine.
Give some examples of things that you own or use that are designed in CAD.
Lots of things that I own or used are designed in CAD. Everything from the pencils that I designed and made to my dressers, desk, and bed, the door to my room, and the toaster. Everything electronic has been designed using CAD too.
What is the value of accuracy and precision in your work in CAD?
Accuracy and precision are both very important to my work in CAD because accuracy allows me to accurately :) design things, to the dimensions they need to be and precision allows me to precisely :) measure things so they they can be accurately :) designed.
What have you learned about solving problems this semester?
What I have learned about solving problems this year is to basically use the design process. You have to start with researching your project and then design it on the computer, make a test run, redesign it or look into other options of how to make it, and finally, finish it. Never leave a project undone.
What can you do in Pro Desktop to keep from having problems with your designs?
When you design all the parts and assemble them, you can prevent problems like the parts not fitting together the way they should.
What project did you learn the most from this semester?
I learned the most from my pen project because through that project, I became more proficient in using prodesktop, I learned to use a lathe, I learned to use the Micro mill, and I learned how to apply finish and all that other good stuff to wood to make it shiny!
